Toffees Seal Love Loan - Report

Speculation has sprung up over the last few days linking Love with a move to Goodison Park, where he would replace the recently departed Andrew Johnson in attack.
Manager David Moyes had set his sights on the Brazilian's compatriot and strike partner Jo, but the youngster instead moved to Manchester City after CSKA's asking price rose well beyond the Toffees' means.
It was expected the Merseyside club would have similar problems where Love was concerned, as the Selecao star - who has 21 caps for his country - could fetch upwards of £15million.
But the latest reports reveal that both clubs have agreed in principle an initial one-year loan with the option of making the move permanent for £13million upon the deal's expiration.
The 24-year-old is scheduled to undergo a medical exam this afternoon, and the switch should be finalised within the next three days.
Love's arrival could signal the beginning of a sudden flurry of activity at Everton, as Cameroonian midfielder Stephane M'Bia is also close to signing while Moyes remains intent on landing £16million-rated Joao Moutinho from Sporting Lisbon.
