England/World Cup 2010

Who do you think will win the next world cup and why?
Where will England position-will they qualify?


I think Spain will remain supreme but argentina will have a case. i think spains squad as euro played the best consistently and with a young squad players like villa/torres/iniesta/ramos/fabregas are gonna get even better. Xavi and Puyol may be missed but they could still be in the squad as world cups tend to see the older/experienced players

and i think England will get there and take it as far as the quater final stage.

I think that USA will win it. lol just kidding but i wish. I do like Argentina. They have loads of young talent and will be very exciting to watch. An Argentina v Spain final would be a GREAT game.

for sure that would be a technically dazzling game to watch.

it may only be me but i get sick of italy and germany and similar teams-probably england for other nationalities are the same. but the teams that get ther without any real class, any super talent, jus by playing organised.-i admire it too of course, a team that can organise and fight for games is to be admired and should do well, but i think a final should epitomise talented football in terms of skill and excitement aswel as passion and desire-i think spain and argentina have all the qualitites.

i think france will win it

Good start for englands road to 2010. A boring but grinding win against a tough and defensive Andorra followed by tonights 4 - 1 drubbing of Croatia
Glad we got that tricky game out of the way with maximum points !!

Well my only thought for Africa 2010 is that i hope Scotland get there, we were regulars at the world cup in the 70's to 90's but over the past 10 years we aint managed to qualify, however after a tough start i think we can make it this year, i am going for 6 out of 6 pts vs the gifted dutch in our qualifiying group!!!

If and once we get there i hope we can do something no other scottish team has managed and actually make it through to the second round.
