WOW! So far I must say I love it!

PKs are much improved you actually have to dive with the keeper now lol. Another thing I saw that I think is truly amazing is if a through pass gets past the back 4 to a striker the defenders will raiser an arm calling for the offsides. Game speed is much faster. In my opinion to play this game you must forget everything you ever did in 08 besides basic controls and tricks. That is a great thing hopefully all the cheap tactics are out of the game.

On a sad note Ive played 3 games and no goals besides penalties lol.

They shouldve had Bayern on the demo. Well i guess they dont wont to give it all away now. You have to wait for the real game to get the best part.

Obviously this is a dulled down version for file size and what not but it all looks and feels a bit weird for me. The pitch seems very small and the ball doesnt seem to move right to me either. The shots look and respond a little weird
I found the idea of player collisions being updated very good when it was announced but now i have to say it's sh*ting me off a little in the game when players always hit the deck after bumping into one another. Im sure the game itself will be much much better and hopefully it's just that stadium used for the demo that makes the pitch feel small *shrugs*

Nevermind - i'll still be buying it on the day it comes out

Anybody else find anything in the demo a bit off putting ? Or, what are the new features you love ? I love the shooting with the outside of the boot when needed, thats more realistic & the penalties being more realistic so the keeper cant move to one spot and save the shot all the bloody time ! lol

I love the demo!!! i think everything has improved about it like the PK, shooting, the keepers, challenging in the air and the strength comparison is amazing!
Its going to be alot harder to defend online but more easier attacking because you have power on your passes now and through balls seem easier.
cant wait till it comes out!!

Had another few hours on it - and now i have to say i love it and i want it now !

Once i got rid of the 3d radar display for the 2d radar display i feel like the pitch was bigger again. Also found a camera angle that suited me better.
As for the gameplay it's like Og said - you have to completely forget 08, once you do that 09 becomes so fluent and smooth. I love the first touch and first time passing, it's much more like real football !

I do think the demo is great and I cant wait.

Som you said the collision system bothers you when the players hit the deck all the time. Have you watched a match recently mate lol. Thats what they really do. haha

No but I think its good. Im curious to see if there are any improvements to the online league set up.

i think that Fifa 09 is evolving to a different gaming experience. You tru;y have to forget about Fifa08 in order to catch up w/ this one. I already found a way to score. it works 3 out of 5 times so its good.

Yeah i figured out a few moves to score quite often also, just slick passing through midfield and an early through ball with chelsea works quite easily.
Oh btw - how awesome are the free kicks with this one !!!! About time they sorted that out

I went into our local games store the other day and they have the cases there already in the "coming soon" section - what a tease
